This is a really healthy trail mix with all the best stuff in it. You can ad any assortment of dried fruits and nuts you like. This is a really healthy trail mix with all the best stuff in it. You can ad any assortment of dried fruits and nuts you like.

Ingredients

    1 cup, Almonds dry roasted whole kernels
    1 cup, cashews dry roasted with salt, whole
    1 cup pumpkin seeds dry roasted with shells removed
    1 cup pistachio nuts dry roasted with shells removed
    1 cup Ocean Spray raisins
    1 cup raisins
    1 cup Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate Chips

Directions

Measure and mix all ingredients together. You can substitute any combination of dried fruits and nuts you like. Suggestions: dried blueberries, dried cherries, sunflower seeds, peanuts, walnuts, ect... Makes 16 servings 270 calories a serving, about ˝ cup.

    This recipe is a lot healther if you use the raw nuts... cooked nuts lose all the healthy oils that make the nuts healthy - 2/5/11
