Oriental Cabbage Salad

Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    8 c. cabbage, cut fine (or one bag of precut slaw mix)
    1 c. carrots, shredded
    1 c. scallions (green onions) sliced thin
    .5 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. sunflower seeds
    2 pkgs Ramen noodles, broken up

    dressing:
    2/3 c. canola oil
    1/3 c. rice vinegar
    .25 c. sugar
    2 envelopes of seasonings from Ramen noodles

Directions

Mix the cabbage, carrots, green onions, almonds, and sunflower seeds in a large bowl.

Mix the dressing ingredients together and whisk well to incorporate the sugar.

When it's time to eat, stir in the crushed Ramen noodles (yes, raw) and dressing. Mix well and serve immediately.
Makes 24 1/2 c servings
