  • I have made this recipe twice. The first time I made it exactly as submitted. We thought that the breadcrumbs were overwhelming and took away from the macaroni and cheese. We substituted 1/2 cup Panko for the breadcrumbs and used 1/4 cube of melted butter. Very Good. A keeper! - 2/7/11

  • Boyfriend said "it's very good". Yay! a new one for the dinner rotation. Like mentioned before, I would cut down on the breadcrumbs as they were a bit overwhelming. Oh and I made this a little easier by using canned chicken. - 5/24/10

I mean the length it is normally packaged in. Other than butter, I have it listed in oz, so if your package says weight you can judge by that. The stick of butter was 4 oz. Sorry about the breadcrumb overage! It's just that my mom's always made chicken casserole with tons of it so I love it.
