Dollbabe56's (RR) Homemade Chicken Soup

Ingredients

    Chicken Broth, 8 cup (8 fl oz)
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 16 ounces
    Bay Leaf, 1 tbsp, crumbled
    Baby Carrots, raw, 10 large
    Celery, raw, 2 stalk, large (11"-12" long)
    Onions, raw, .5 large
    Alphebets Macaroni Pasta(dry), 12 oz
    Pepper, black, 1 dash

Directions

Makes 5 servings
Heat 4 cups broth to boiling, add chicken and bay leaf to pot, and simmer, covered, for about 8 minutes. Add vegetables to pot when you finish chopping each of them. Remove chicken meat after 8 minutes and place on a cutting board to cool.

Add the second 4 cups of broth to your pot and bring liquid to a boil. Add pasta and cook 10 minutes (or until pasta is tender). Remove soup pot from heat. Dice chicken and add to soup. Season soup with pepper to taste. If soup is too thick, add up to 2 cups of water to achieve desired consistency.
