Ingredients

    Onions, raw, 1 cup chopped
    Butter, salted, .25 cup
    Olive Oil, .25 cup
    *Flour, white, .5 cup
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    Milk, 2%, 1.5 cup
    Broccoli, frozen, 1 package (10 oz)
    Chicken Broth, 3 cup (8 fl oz)
    Cheddar Cheese - 1 cup shredded

Directions

4 servings

Cook chopped onions in butter and olive oil until transparent but not browned. Add flour, salt, and pepper. Cook for a minute over low. Add broth and milk, stirring to dissolve the flour. Cook until boils and thickens. Add cooked broccoli and cheese. Stir until cheese melts.
