Ingredients

2 Great Value 85/15 hamburger patties
    1 medium onion chopped
    1 bell pepper, diced
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    3 tablespoons chili powder
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon ground cumin
    1 tablespoon ground oregano
2 cans of northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 can of diced tomatoes
    2 cups of water
1 14.5 ounce can of beef broth, reduced sodium

Directions

Makes 10-12 1-cup servings

1. Heat olive oil over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add hamburger patties, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until the hamburger is browned and crumbled.

2. Add spices and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Add in can of diced tomatoes, and make sure to deglaze the pan with the juices, because those bits at the bottom have lots of flavor. Then add in all of beans.

4. Add in your water and broth. Stir very well and bring to a boil over medium/high heat. Then reduce and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until fragrant.
