Carrot, Apple, and Ginger smoothie

Introduction

Wonderful breakfast smoothie. I love smoothies and am always trying new things. I saw that ginger and lemon juice was added to a smoothie that was just like mine in a magazine. I tried it and I think it tastes great and the ginger makes the stomach feel good. Wonderful breakfast smoothie. I love smoothies and am always trying new things. Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 cup 100% carrot juice, cold
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 cup vanilla fat free yogurt
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1/2 tsp grated peeled fresh ginger
    1frozen sliced ripe banana
    about 5 ice cubes

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Yield 2 servings about 1 1/4 cup each. I drink the whole thing usually.
