Submitted by: CRIS76

Introduction

I know anyone can slice and dice up fruit to make a fruit salad. This is here for my own reference for my nutrition tracker. I know anyone can slice and dice up fruit to make a fruit salad. This is here for my own reference for my nutrition tracker.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

1/2 pineapple, diced (not the core YUCK)
2 large oranges, chef sectioned and juice squeezed out
    2 large bananas, sliced
    1/2 cup seedless grapes, quartered
    1 cup mango, diced
    3 kiwi, peeled and sliced
    2 cups frozen strawberries

Directions

Everything pretty much gets tossed into the bowl.

Order doesn't really matter BUT if you don't want your bananas to turn brown put the first few fruits in like this:
- pineapple
- section one orange into the bowl
- squeeze any remaining juice out of the orange into the bowl
- slice the bananas into the fruit salad
- toss the bananas around to get coated in the first orange's juice
- section the second orange and squeeze it's juice into the bowl
- toss the bananas around again

Add the remaining fruit in any order.

Make about 2-3 hours before eating so the orange juice can masserate the other fruits. The strawberries will also thaw.

If you use any other fruits, re-calculate the nutritional value.

Makes 8 cups; 1 serving = 1 cup

Number of Servings: 8
