Homemade Pumpkin & Whole Wheat Pasta with Flax Seed

Introduction

This makes about 1/2 lb of pasta dough, and is calculated for 8 servings This makes about 1/2 lb of pasta dough, and is calculated for 8 servings
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3/4 c canned pumpkin (NOT pie filling)
    ~1 c white flour
    ~1 c wheat flour
    4 Tbsp flax seed meal

Directions

Combine ingredients in a food processor and pulse to combine, and then process until it forms a ball of dough. It should not be sticky. If it is too sticky, add more flour. If it is too crumbly, add a little water.

Roll (a pasta machine makes this easier) very thin, then cut into desired shapes. Let dry ~15 minutes, then boil ~3 minutes in salted water.
