Fresh Fruit Salad with vanilla yogurt

Submitted by: SANDRAMONROE

Introduction

I was having hard time getting my kids to eat much fresh fruit. By mixing these together with one carton of vanilla (or any flavor) fat free yogurt, they loved it. Seemed more like dessert. Could be served with a slice of angelfood cake or a muffin for breakfast. Use any fruit you have on hand, even toss in some chopped walnuts, raisins, just adjust the calories and fat if you add nuts. Directions

Makes 8 servings, about 3/4 cup each

toss all fruit together, except bananas (especially if they are very ripe), until well mixed. Put bananas on top, and fold in yogurt.

Serve immediately. Fruit may get mushy if left too long, but is still great the next morning for breakfast. Leftovers can be whipped up into a smoothie too.
