1 lb italian sausage
1 med onion, chopped
3 cans (15 oz) Italian-style tomato sauce
2 tsp dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp salt
2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
15 oz part-skim ricotta cheese
1 c grated parmesan cheese
15 uncooked lasagna noodles
Mix together all cheeses (reserve 1cup mozzerella )
spoon 1/4 sausage into crockpot, top with a layer of noodles broken to fit, add half of cheese mixture and another 1/4 of sausage, then another layer of noodles. Add remainng cheese and 1/4 of meat then another layer of noodles, top with remaining meat mixture.
cover and cook on low 4-6 hours until noodles are tender
sprinkle top of lasagna with remaining mozzerella cheese, cover and let stand about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
cut into pieces.
