Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies for Two

Introduction

Oatmeal cookies with whole wheat and applesauce - and a small enough batch that it'll be difficult to over-eat. :) Oatmeal cookies with whole wheat and applesauce - and a small enough batch that it'll be difficult to over-eat. :)
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Oatmeal (Old Fashioned, uncooked)
    1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    dash Cinnamon
    dash Cloves

    1/2 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
    2 tbsp Milk

Directions

Mix flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and spices. (White sugar will work just fine if you prefer it.) Mix in the milk and applesauce. Place the cookies (it should make four smallish or two large) on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with pam. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until golden on top.

Could easily be made vegan by using a milk substitute.
