1 lb. lean ground beef 1 medium chopped onion 8 oz can tomato sauce 1/4 c. ketchup 2 c. (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese 12 oz can Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (10 count)
In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion, then drain. Stir in tomato sauce and ketchup, heat thoroughly. Turn mixture into shallow 1.5 qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange biscuits on hot meat mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted. Makes 9 servings.
