Toasted Nut Hummus

Introduction

Dukkah is a mixture of toasted nuts and seeds. I have included the recipe already. Dukkah is a mixture of toasted nuts and seeds. I have included the recipe already.

Ingredients

    1 can of no salt chickpeas, drained - liquid reserved.
    1 tbsp - Organic cashew butter
    1 tbsp of Dukkah or unsalted cashews, toasted
    1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
    3 garlic cloves, smashed
    2 tbsp fresh sage leaves, chopped
    1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped

Directions

Drain the chickpeas, reserving liquid. Add to the mix to get proper consistency without adding oil. Add the remaining ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth. Serve with carrots, or use as a sandwich spread.
