Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 c milk
    2 c quick oats
    1 1/4 c semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

heat oven to 375. Coat a 8x8x2 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, set aside.
in a small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder & salt together. In a large bowl, beat sugar & butter on medium-high speed until fluffy. beat in vanilla. Reduce speed to low and beat in milk, then flour mixture. stir in oats & 1 c. of chips.
Spread batter into prepared pan. bake for 35 min. or until wooden pick comes out clean. cool completely on a wire rack. microwave remaining chips for 30 seconds; stir until smooth & drizzle over bars. cut into 16 squares.
