Chicken Marsala

Introduction

A favorite of hubs and mine! Enjoy with brown rice or mashed potatoes, and a salad (not included in nutritional values) We like to keep the mushrooms whole, but you can slice them before cooking if you'd like. Ingredients

    4 skinless/boneless chicken breasts
    4 Cups fresh mushrooms, whole or slice
    1 Cup onions, chopped
    1/2 Cup water
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 Cup dry Marsala or cooking sherry

Directions

-Pound chicken to 1/4 in
-Spray skillet with Pam and cook chicken until no longer pink- remove from skillet and keep warm.
-Add mushrooms, green onions, water and salt to skillet. Cook until mushrooms are tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.
-Add wine to skillet and heat through.

Serve chicken with mushroom mixture topping.

Serves 4.
