Banana Nut Bread


Number of Servings: 24


    2/3 cup sugar
    1/3 cup soft shortening
    2 eggs
    3 tbsp butter milk
    1 cup mashed banana
    2 cups flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup nuts

Preheat oven to 350.
Mix in all indredients in order. Pour batter into greased loaf pans and let batter settle for 20 minutes. Bake for 50-60 minutes. check with a toothpick before you pull them out. If toothpick is clean they are done if not put them back in the oven for a few extra minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
