Wheat Free Baked Ziti

Introduction

My families fave....NO ricotta (even though I love the stuff, the high quality stuff can be costly). I come from a good Italian family and as much as I (and my mom) hate to admit it - this baked ziti is really, really good. My families fave....NO ricotta (even though I love the stuff, the high quality stuff can be costly). I come from a good Italian family and as much as I (and my mom) hate to admit it - this baked ziti is really, really good.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb Tinkyada Penne Pasta
    4 cups Classico Tomato & Basil Sauce
    6 slices 2% milk provolone cheese
    1/2 cup light sour cream
    1 cup finely shredded Low Fat Part SKim Mozzarella
    4 T shredded parmesan reggiano

Directions

Boil pasta according to directions
Spoon small amount of sauce into 9x13 pan
Add in 1/2 of cooked pasta
Lay all provolone slices over pasta and smear sour cream over the cheese slizes
Cover with 1/2 the sauce
Add in last 1/2 of pasta
cover with mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce
Sprinkle with grated reggiano
Bake at 325 for 20- 30 minutes, until bubbly
Serves 12
