Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 package 93% lean ground turkey (1.3 lbs)
    1 large yellow onion
    28 oz can of crushed/pureed tomatoes (I used Furmano's)
    2 heaping tbsp tomato paste
    3 15 oz cans of kidney beans (I used Harris Teeter Organic Dark Red Kidney Beans)
    1 tbsp ground cumin
    2 tbsp chili powder
    1 tbsp garlic powder
    2 tbsp brown sugar
    2 tbsp (or more, to taste) Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce

Directions

Brown turkey in large pot over med-high heat, with onions (chopped fine). Sautee until turkey has cooked through and is broken into small pieces. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, and hot sauce. Add kidney beans (do not drain - include liquid). Stir until combined, lower to medium heat until mixture is simmering. Let simmer over med-low heat for 30 minutes.
