Introduction

Tired of the same ol' dish so just threw together what was on hand after assessing what the kids had left untouched in the pantry... good for pre-shopping 'Shopping Day' meal. Tired of the same ol' dish so just threw together what was on hand after assessing what the kids had left untouched in the pantry... good for pre-shopping 'Shopping Day' meal.

Ingredients

    6 chicken breasts
    generous sprinkling of McCormick's Garlic & Herb seasoning
    Dash of black pepper
    Dash of Allspice
    Semi-generous sprinkling of onion powder
    1 can cream of chicken soup with herbs
    2 cans red kidney beans, drained
    2 cans corn, drained
    2 cups rice (uncooked)
    4 cups water (tap)
    Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Prep the slow cooker with non-stick spray, place chicken breasts on bottom of pot, then season. Layer on can of cream of chicken soup atop the chicken ensuring all is covered. Pour in kidney beans, then corn. Cover and cook on High for 4 hours.

About half an hour or so before chicken dish is finished, put some rice in the rice cooker so it should finish about the same time.
