Shelly's Famous BLT Dip

Introduction

Nice refreshing dip, with a lighter touch. You can change the cheese, bacon, mayo and sour cream to fit into any diet. Nice refreshing dip, with a lighter touch. You can change the cheese, bacon, mayo and sour cream to fit into any diet.
Number of Servings: 64

Ingredients

    2 bags of shredded lettuce
    1 bag (2 cup) of shredded cheddar or colby cheese
    2 medium tomatoes
    1 pound of turkey bacon
    1/2 cup of light mayo
    1/2 cup of light sour cream
    Baked Scoops

Directions

Chop bacon (easier if frozen). Fry chopped bacon to preferred texture. Set aside and allow to cool for approx 15 min. Pat any extra grease from bacon using paper towel. Chop both tomatoes into small/med cubes. In large container (preferrably one that has a lid) combine: lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and bacon. In a small side bowl mix mayo and sour cream. After mixing, pour into large container with rest of ingredients. Stir everything together. Serve immediately. Stir occasionally if being set out for an event/party. Refrigerate any unused dip in a covered container. Mixture will get soupy and lettuce will soften, stir and serve. Do not recommend keeping in fridge beyond 2 days. Serve with baked scoops or regular scoops.

Makes 64 Tbsp or 4 cups of dip
