Vanilla Breakfast Bulgar

Introduction

Tasty warm sweet and it keeps you full for a very long time! Tasty warm sweet and it keeps you full for a very long time!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cups skim (fat free) milk
    1 cup coarse ground bulgar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ground allspice
    1/8 tsp cardamom
    pinch of salt
    2 scoops Total Soy protein powder
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    Truvia (or other natural sweetener to taste)

Directions

In a 2 quart saucepan heat milk over medium heat and add all ingredients except sweetener, protein powder and vanilla. Continue heating until very hot but NOT boiling, partially cover (NOT TIGHTLY!!) and reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occassionally for about 10 minutes. Add protein powder and vanilla, stir. Makes 6 servings. Top with sweetener, fruit, milk, soy milk, etc (keep in mind it adds calories). Enjoy!
