Turkey Jam Panini

Introduction

Teriffic with soup or as a light quick lunch. All the flavors of a Monte Cristo without the fat. Teriffic with soup or as a light quick lunch. All the flavors of a Monte Cristo without the fat.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 slice whole grain bread
    1 oz reduced sodium turkey breast
    1 tbsp light cream cheese
    1 tbsp your favorite jam
    2 tbsp egg substitute.

Directions

Heat panini pressy, electric grill, or skillet until hot. Coat with cooking spray.

Cut 1 slice of bread in half and spread one side with cream cheese and other with jam. Layer with turkey and close. Dip each side of the sandwich in the egg substitute then grill. Cook until bread is toasted, and sandwich is cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Makes one sandwich.
