Ball Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup green pepper
1/2 cup celery
2 cloves garlic
1 lb ground beef
1T olive oil
10 oz tomato paste
15 oz can tomato sauce
15 oz can whole tomatoes chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Directions
Saute onions, green peppers, celery, and garlic in oil until onions are tender. Add ground beef. Cook until browned. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaves. Cool. Ladle sauce into plastic freezer jars or plastic freezer containers, leaving 1/2" headspace. Seal, label, freeze.
