Blaine's Dark Chocolate Cookies

Introduction

Unbelievable cookie for under 100 calories each and made with whole wheat! You won't believe how good these are!!! Unbelievable cookie for under 100 calories each and made with whole wheat! You won't believe how good these are!!!
Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    1 C whole wheat flour
    1/2 C cocoa powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp coarse salt
    8 oz dark chocolate chips
    1/2 stick unsalted butter
    1 1/2 C sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp vanilla

Directions

preheat oven to 325F whisk together flour, cocoa, soda, and salt. Melt 1/2 of chocolate chips with butter in small bowl or pot and let cool slightly, mix melted chocolate with sugar, eggs, and vanilla in mixer, slowly add four mixture, fold in chocolate chips. drop by 1 1/2" balls onto greased cookie sheet 2" apart. bake about 15 min or until cookies are flat and surface is cracked but still soft.
makes 36 cookies

    These cookies definitely took care of my chocolate fix! They were very good. I used my small scooper to make the balls and they came out of oven, still in balls. Mo matter.....they tasted great! And perfect to just pop in mouth :) - 1/20/11
