Very tasty! The recipe has been tripled for dinner parties but it can be reduced to serve four (the cookbook says it would serve two, but who needs TWO thighs?!) Very tasty! Ingredients



    * Olive Oil, 6 1tsp (remove)
    * Almonds, .75 cup, sliced (remove)
    * Garlic, 3 cloves (remove)
    * Chicken Thigh, 12 thigh, bone and skin removed (remove)
    * Salsa, 3 cup (remove)
    * *Black Currants, dried, 0.75 cup (remove)
    * Honey, 12 tbsp (remove)
    * *Cumin seed, .75 tsp (remove)
    * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp (remove)

Directions

Use a crockpot. Spray it beforehand with nonstick cooking spray.
Heat the almonds in oil over a skillet for one minute and then coarsely chop when cool. Brown the thighs with garlic in a skillet about 4-5 minutes, then transfer that and everything except for the almonds to the cooker. Set on LOW, covered for 2-2/5 hours. Juices will run clear when pierced with fork.

Top with the almonds and serve!
