Tomato and Cheese Sandwich

Introduction

This was my way of getting tomatoes into my diet. It is pretty simple and delicious. This was my way of getting tomatoes into my diet. It is pretty simple and delicious.

Ingredients

    1-2 sliced olives
    Slice of cheese
    2 slices of wheat bread
    1-2 chopped mushrooms
    Ripe Tomato
    Tomato paste
    Butter (optional)

Directions

Blend the tomato and tomato paste together to make marinara sauce. I added basil, oregeno, garlic sauce, and pepper. If you want you can put butter on the outsides of the bread. Put a big spoonful of the homemade marinara sauce on the bread, the cheese, olives, and mushrooms. I used my small George Forman Grill, but you could also bake it in the oven or grill it on the stove top.
