Barb's Homemade Wheat Bread

Number of Servings: 42

Ingredients

    6 cups wheat flour
    2 cupts hot tap water
    1 TBSP yeast
    2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup oil

Directions

Put water, yeast and sugar in mixer. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Add flour, salt, eggs, and oil. Mix for 10 minutes. Cover and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour. Mix down dough. Form into 3 loaves. Put in pans. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.

Makes 3 loaves and about 12 to 14 slices per loaf.
