Whole Grain Waffles

Introduction

Delicious whole grain waffle with no artificial ingredients. Delicious whole grain waffle with no artificial ingredients.
Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    1 3/4 Cup Flour (Whole Wheat or a mix of Whole Wheat and another whole grain flour such as Flaxseed)
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 T Honey or Brown Sugar
    3 Eggs
    1 Cup Skim Milk
    3/4 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
    1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

Set waffle maker on High. Spray both sides of waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.
Mix wet ingredients in another bowl and then add to dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed - do not overstir. Can add a little more milk until batter is at desired consistancy.
Ladle about a half a cup of batter onto waffle iron. Cook for about 3 - 4 minutes.

Makes 7 (6.5") waffles.
