Cooking Light - Garlic Thyme Burgers with Grilled Tomato

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1Tbsp chopped fresh thyme
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 lbs extra lean ground turkey (original recipe called for ground sirloin)
    4 (1/2 inch thick) slices beefsteak tomato
    1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
    4 kaiser rolls (or bun of preference)
    4 baby romaine lettuce leaves

Directions

Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high heat.

Combine first 5 ingredients (thyme through meat) then portion into 4 servings. Grill each burger for approximately 4 minutes per side. Grill the tomato slices for 1 minute per side.

Build sandwich with roll, mustard, burger, lettuce and tomato.
