Waldo's Cooked Salad Dressing

Ingredients



    * *Friendly Farms Fat Free Skim Milk, 1.25 cup (remove)
    * *"Great Value" Cornstarch (1 Tbsp), 1.5 tbsp (remove)
    * Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
    * *Dry Mustard, .25 tsp (remove)
    * *Splenda, 3 tsp (remove)
    * Butter, salted, 1 tbsp (remove), melted
    * Cider Vinegar, .33 cup (remove)
    * Pepper, red or cayenne, .12 tsp (remove)
    * Egg Yolk, 2 large (remove)
    * *Dry Mustard, .5 tsp (remove)

Directions

Scald the milk. Combine the cornstarch, salt, mustard and cayenne pepper in the top of a double boiler. Stir in the egg yolks and sugar. Mix well. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly., Place over hot water and cook, stirring constantly until thick, about 7 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter and the vinegar. Chill
