Turkey Sausage Taquitos

Submitted by: SONGBIRD800

Introduction

A quick throw-together entree that is sure to satisfy. The recipe is a little high on the sodium, but if you budget it into your daily totals, it should be fine as an occasional reward meal. Great for weekend breakfast! A favorite in my house for years! A quick throw-together entree that is sure to satisfy. Ingredients

1 - 16 oz package of Louis Rich Original Turkey Sausage
1 Carton of Food Club Great Egg-Spectations
1 Cup Kraft Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Mild Pace Picante Sauce
    10 - 8 inch Mission Flour Tortillas

Directions

Spray a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Fry turkey sausage in large skillet until no longer pink. Remove sausage from the skillet.

Spray skillet again, if necessary, and cook the Great Egg-Spectations as you would scrambled eggs.

Return cooked turkey sausage to the pan with the eggs.

Pour the Picante sauce into the pan and mix well.

Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave or on the stovetop until pliable (NOT HOT).

Divide the sausage and egg mixture into 10 servings. Place each serving on the flour tortilla sprinkle with cheddar cheese and roll as you would a burrito.

Makes 10 servings. (NOTE: These freeze well too!)

Enjoy!
