Basil Marinated Shrimp

Introduction

A yummy marinade to use with grilled shrimp! Shrimp cooks in lemon juice so be careful with your marinade time. A yummy marinade to use with grilled shrimp! Shrimp cooks in lemon juice so be careful with your marinade time.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Shrimp
    Fresh Basil, minced
    Garlic, minced
    Fresh lemon juice
    Dijon mustard
    olive oil
    butter
    salt
    pepper

Directions

Stir all ingredients except the shrimp in a bag or container and then add shrimp. Marinate for 30 min to 1 hour in refrigerator. Take shrimp out of marinade, skewer shrimp and discard marinade. Grill shrimp until hot and opaque. Serve on top of mixed greens salad or brown rice. This makes 4-5 skewers for 2 to 2.5 a person skewers a person.
