Chocolate Brownies w/ Andes Creme de Menthe chips

Introduction

Based on the Betty Crocker recipe but with splenda instead of sugar, replacing some of the butter with applesauce, and using Egg Beaters instead of eggs. Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
    1/3 cup stick butter
    1/2 cup baking cocoa
    7/8 cup splenda for baking
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    3/4 cup Egg Beaters
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup Andes Creme de Menthe baking chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease brownie pan
Melt butter. Add cocoa.
Beat splenda, vanilla, egg beaters in medium bowl with mixer for 5 minutes.
Beat in cocoa mixture at low speed.
Beat in flour until blended.
Mix in Andes baking chips.
Spread in brownie pan.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from side of pan.
Cool completely on wire rack.
