Garlic Basil Mushrooms

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 cups sliced mushrooms (any kind)
    2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
    1/8 c. water
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1 dash garlic salt
    2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
    1 tsp. basil

Directions

Heat the oil in a skillet/egg pan. While it's heating, add the seasonings. Once it's fairly warm (you can feel the heat if you hold your hand just above the pan), add the mushrooms. Stir things up until they seasonings are fairly well distributed, then add the water at the side of the pan (to avoid washing off the seasonings). Cook, stirring from time to time until mushrooms are soft and have changed color slightly. Makes 2 1-cup servings.
