Tamz Vegan Taco Filling

Introduction

I precook beans & rice from scratch.

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    *Brown Rice, long grain, 1.5 cup
    Beans, black, 1.5 cup
    Imagine, Vegetable Broth (organic), 4 oz
    Chili powder, 1 tbsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, .5 tbsp
    Paprika, .5 tbsp
    Ground cumin seed, .5 tbsp
    Salt, 2 tsp
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped

Directions

Spray fry-pan lightly with non-stick spray.
Saute onions and garlic, then add rice, beans and walnuts. Heat on low heat until slightly crisped. Add broth and seasonings, cooking until broth is reduced.

Makes approximately 16, 1/4 cup servings.
