Introduction

Serve alone, or in a hollowed bread bowl. Also nice over rice or pasta. My husband is a diabetic which is why I include the carb counts for a variation of servings.. easier for me.. maybe you too. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 Italian Sausages, frozen (Hot, Mild, Med.. to your own preference.

    1 med Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
    1 small Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
    1 1/2 Cups Crushed Tomatoes
    1/2 Cup small onion, chopped
    1 tsp minced garlic
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    Active Lifestyle Multigrain Pasta Rotini, Dry, 130 gram(s)

Directions

1. Slice sausage into small bite size rounds while still partially frozen. Simmer in pot with shallow water until no longer pink. Drain.

2. Chop all veggies into bite size chunks.

3. Combine all ingredients in pot, bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer on low heat for approx 30 mins, or until veggies are tender.

Makes:

4 servings @ 338 Calories with 36 Carbs

or 2 servings @ 675 Calories with 72g Carbs

or 3 servings @ 450 Calories with 48 Carbs
