Tofu & Mango Dessert

Introduction

Delicious, creamy chilled dessert. Delicious, creamy chilled dessert.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 340g block silken tofu soft, well drained
    1 mango (fresh or frozen)
    3 T Agave nectar/ honey/ syrup to taste
    tsp ground ginger
    tsp ground cinnamon
    pinch salt

Directions

Blend tofu, mango, agave nectar and ginger until smooth. Transfer to serving bowls and freeze for an hour. Sprinkle with cinnamon or decorate with a few cubes of reserved fruit.

You can replace the mango with your favourite soft fruit (ie papaya/ peaches/ berries)

  • I guess mangoes aren't that great in my area, because I put 2 whole mangoes in, and it still didn't taste like mango. In the end, I put in some strawberries and 2 T buckwheat honey. :-) - 3/16/11
