Healthy Pasta Alfredo

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 ounces dried small pasta
    1.5 cups nonfat milk
    3 tbsp flour
    2/3 cup grated Parmesan
    1/2 reduced fat sour cream
    4 ounces diced ham
    1.5 cups frozen peas, thawed
    salt and pepper

Directions

Cook pasta; drain and set aside. In saucepan, blend milk and flour. Place over medium high heat and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and continue to simmer and stir for about two minutes. Add the Parmesan cheese and sour cream and stir until well blended. Stir in pasta, ham and peas and heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
