Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Flour, white, 2 cup
    Baking Powder, 3 tsp
    Baking Soda, .25 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, .33 cup
    Culinary lavender buds 2 TBS
    Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread with Flax Oil, 2 tbsp (or margerine)
    Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Original, 8 oz (or other milk/soy product)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
    Walnuts, .2 cup, chopped
    Granulated Sugar, .13 cup (vanilla sugar or lavender sugar)
    Cooking spray

Directions

lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Combine first five dry ingredients.
Cut in smart balance with pastry cutter until course crumble stage.
Stir in Almond Breeze with fork until moistened.
Divide into thirds and pat out into rounds on baking sheet.
Top each round with chopped walnuts and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
Cut each round into quarters and scoot sections apart from each other.

Bake 400 deg for 15-17 mins.
