Dago Cabbage

Introduction

Quick an yummy recipe! Substitute turkey sausage for lower fat and lower calories. My family just LOVES this! Quick an yummy recipe! Substitute turkey sausage for lower fat and lower calories. My family just LOVES this!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb Jimmy Dean Regular Sausage
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can Rotel
    1 can (1.5 qts) Great Value Petite Diced Tomatoes
    1 medium Green Pepper, chopped
    1 lg head cabbage, chopped
    Salt, Pepper, and Galic, to taste

Directions

Place chopped cabbage in large pot and cover with water; bring to a boil then simmer until done (about 30 min.) While cabbage is cooking, brown sausage and onion; drain. Add other ingredients (except cabbage) into sausage mixture and heat until bubbly. When cabbage is done, drain well and put back in large pot; pour meat mixture into cabbage and mix well; serve. Makes about 6 one cup servings. (More or less)
