Chicken & Barley Soup

Introduction

Easy soup that uses canned chicken when you have no fresh meat on hand and all other items that are commonly stored in your cupboard Easy soup that uses canned chicken when you have no fresh meat on hand and all other items that are commonly stored in your cupboard
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 can reduced sodium chicken broth
    2 cups water
    1 can corn
    1 can pinto beans
    1 can chicken breast
    1/2 chopped red bell pepper
    1 cup snap green beans cut into 1" pieces
    1 tsp minced onion
    1 tbsp parsley
    1 tsp thyme
    2 chicken bullion cubes

Directions

Bring Chicken broth, bullion, spices and water to a boil, add barley cover and cook for 30 minutes, add remaining ingredients and cook for 20 more until all is tender and serve.
