Wheat Bread (Bread Machine 1.5 pound loaf)

Introduction

I love my bread machine. I love wheat bread! Here, they come together. I love my bread machine. I love wheat bread! Here, they come together.

Ingredients

    * 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons
    * 3 tablespoons canola oil
    * 3 tablespoons honey
    * 1 ½ teaspoons salt
    * 3 cups wheat flour
    * 2 teaspoons active dry yeast.

Directions

1. Add the water, oil, and honey to the bread machine’s bread pan first.
2. Add the salt and wheat flour next. Do not stir dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
3. Make a small pit in the top of the wheat flour, and add the yeast to this pit, taking care not to touch it to the wet ingredients below.
4. Place the bread pan in the bread machine.
5. Select the whole wheat, normal, 1.5-pound cycle on the bread machine, along with any delayed bake instructions you may wish to add.
