Introduction

Makes 15 Large pieces--adapted from an Amish recipe--good for breakfast or for brunch Makes 15 Large pieces--adapted from an Amish recipe--good for breakfast or for brunch

Ingredients

    1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. chopped apples
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp.cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

combine oil, sugar,eggs and vanilla and beat. Stir in Peeled and chopped apples. Separate container sift together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to egg mixture. Will be thick. Bake in 9 X 13 in. greased pan at 350 degrees for about 35-40 min. Makes 15 large servings.
