great way to start the day with protein and complex carbs. great way to start the day with protein and complex carbs.

Ingredients

    1 cup old fashioned oatmeal, 1 cup low fat cottage cheese, 1 cup egg beaters, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp ground flax seeds, maple syrup.

Directions

makes 4 good sized pancakes. place oatmeal, cottage cheese, egg beaters and flax meal in blender. blend until well mixed. add skim milk if too thick. pour 4 pancakes onto hot griddle and top with blueberries. flip when underside is brown. place on heated plates and top with maple syrup. add turkey bacon if desired. 4 servings.
