1 tsp coconut or olive oil 4 turkey sausages, casings removes 1 small can tomato paste 1 cup low sodium chicken broth 1/2 onion, chopped 2 tsp dried oregano 2 tsp balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp brown sugar (not packed) couple good DASHES of cayenne pepper
Heat oil in a medium size skillet. Add sausage and brown. Add onion and cook until onions are transparent. Add tomato paste and chicken broth. Stir to blend. Add spices. Allow to simmer for a few minutes. Serve on pasta or gnocchi.
