Marilee's Snickerdoodles

Introduction

A lower-fat way to make Snickerdoodles - only 65 calories each! A lower-fat way to make Snickerdoodles - only 65 calories each!
Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (light), melted
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

    In a separate bowl:
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tblsp. sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 2 cookie sheets with cooking spray.

Melt butter product; mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients slowly - flour LAST.

Shape into 1" balls; roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture and put onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool. Makes 32 cookies.

NOTE 1: Cookies will keep their round shape.
NOTE 2: Use LIGHT baking pans. I use light silver jelly-roll pans as my cookie sheets.
