Dough for Hoddeok (sugary filled Korean pancakes)

Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    Granulated Sugar, 3 tsp
    Yeast, bakers, 1 ounce
    Salt, .5 tsp
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
    *Flour, white, 2 cup

Directions

Pour warm water in large bowl
Add sugar, yeast, salt and oil
Stir
Add flour
Mix together with spoon (will be very moist and sticky)
Cover with lid or plastic wrap
Let rise 1 hour
Knead down (use flour on hands)
Let rise another 20 minutes
Cover hands and work place well with flour and knead dough
Separate into 8 pieces
Take a piece and flatten slightly, then use hand to make it almost like a cup
Fill it with whatever filling you have chosen (dont forget to add to your tracker)
Close it into a ball
Heat oil in pan then place it seal side down in pan
When it is brown flip over
Then flatten with a spatula or a bowl
Cook until brown
Flip again and cook other side until brown
Eat while hot

*for 8 you need about .5 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon and as many of about an kind of nut you want

*also delicious with ground beef or cheese, eggs, veggies--have fun--I havent tried it with whole wheat, but thats next on my list
