Introduction

Quick Red Beans & Rice. The sodium count on this is really high. But I drained/rinsed the beans, used low sodium bacon, rinsed the smoked sausage, so it's prolly a little lower than this. Ingredients

    3 cans red beans
    2-3 cups of water
    smoked turkey sausage
    low- sodium bacon
    no-salt creole seasoning blend
    onion
    celery

Directions

Brown sausage and a couple strips bacon, add onion and celery. Add beans and water and simmer on low for about an hour or until seasonings are blended and it's thickened a little.
