Introduction

I have been making these for years, and I decided to try making them with regular milk instead of evaporated milk.

Makes around 20-22 rolls, depending on the slices of bread in your loaf.
I have been making these for years, and I decided to try making them with regular milk instead of evaporated milk.

Makes around 20-22 rolls, depending on the slices of bread in your loaf.

Number of Servings: 22

Ingredients

    - 1 packet of Maggi Onion Soup Mix
    - 1 cup milk
    - 1 cup of grated cheese
    - 1 loaf of bread

Directions

Empty soup mix and pour milk into a pot, and mix until smooth. Next, empty the cup of cheese bit by bit into the pot, and stir until thick. It should be thick enough to coat the back of your wooden spoon. Once the mixture is thick, remove from heat and set aside while you get a chopping board and your loaf of bread.

Right. Take out slices of bread bit by bit, and with a dessert spoon and knife, spoon enough mixture onto a slice of bread and spread it out. Next, roll up the bread to a kind of log, and you can either cut off the crusts, or keep them on. Keep doing this until you have used up all of the loaf, and you are done.

These can be eaten like this, or toasted if you like.
